I Nikys! si formano tra la fine del 2007 e l’inizio del 2008, con Emi alla voce e chitarra, Cecco al basso e Fil alla batteria. Da subito iniziano a produrre diversi demo e a suonare nei pub, locali e discoteche della propria zona, riscuotendo un discreto successo e un seguito di pubblico alle spalle che li porta ad avere da subito un nome. Dopo svariati concerti nel febbraio 2008 registrano un EP, al Jam Session Studio di Milano, composto da 8 pezzi.
La band e' caratterizzata da un sound originale influenzato da vari generi, dal Rock al Pop al Punk al Funk, generando un mix che si amalgama perfettamente nelle loro canzoni.
La line-up del gruppo ha subito cambiamenti, inizialmente erano in 3 con Fil alla batteria sostituito nel 2009 da Must(Emilio), e un anno dopo entra a far parte Rok(Rocco) come chitarra solista ma che per motivi personali lascia il gruppo dopo diversi mesi passati insieme alla band. Nel gennaio 2011 dopo mesi di lavoro in studio, esce l’atteso disco di debutto intitolato “PLASTIC WORLD” contenente 9 brani e con la collaborazione e il featuring di Olly dei The Fire nel brano “Dreaming” che sarà il primo singolo dell’album.
L'album "Plastic world" che uscirà nel febbraio 2011 sarà sotto l'etichetta East Coast Records e potrà essere acquistabile nei piu importanti stores digitali, nei negozi sponsorizzati o tramite ordinazione sui siti e network della band..
